I kicked off my career in graphic design at the age of 15 when I began attending Minuteman Vocational High School. There I studied graphic arts, printing, photography and drafting.

Upon graduation I took full time work as a technical illustrator creating schematic and assembly drawings for electronics manufacturers.

In the mid 1980s I added an internship at a music magazine to my work load and began laying out pages and advertisements. Within a few years I had enough publishing knowledge to start my own magazine. I acted as art director and editor of Performer Magazine for five years and produced more than 50 magazines, hundreds of advertisements, and a few special publications such as the Boston Music Awards and NEMO Music Conference programs.

In 1995 I decided to pursue a career in advertising and marketing and began working as a freelance art director for major ad and marketing agencies. In only a few years I worked my way up to Senior Art Director working on projects for major national brands such as Kraft and Nabisco.

Since the late 1990’s I have created countless ads, brochures, mailers, logos, vehicle graphics, and just about any graphic item you can imagine for dozens of small businesses.

Examples:

	6-FOLD BROCHURE I designed and wrote this brochure along with a series of display ads and in-store displays for the Cactus Hair Care System in 2003.
	6-FOLD BROCHURE This is a six-fold brochure that I designed and wrote for a discount golf pro shop called BigTop Golf in 2002.
	POINT-OF-PURCHASE DISPLAYS This is a series of in-store sweepstakes displays for Nabisco which I worked on while Freelancing with the J. Brown LMC Group in 1997 and 1998.
	DIRECT MAIL POSTCARDS These are designs for direct mail postcards for a direct mail marketing company produced in 2008.
	DIRECT MARKETING MAILERS These are a couple of the direct marketing mailers that I designed for school fund raising company Humanitees in 1997.
	POINT-OF-PURCHASE DISPLAYS These are some examples of in-store point-of-purchase displays which I worked on with J. Brown LMC Group in 1997 and 1998.
	PROGRAM DESIGNS These are some examples of music awards show and trade show programs which I designed for the Boston Music Awards and NEMO music conference between 1993 and 1995. I oversaw the entire production of the music awards programs including editorial and art direction.
	MAGAZINE DESIGNS Here are some examples of magazine and periodical covers that I designed. I designed and produced 50 issues of Performer Magazine between 1990 and 1995. The other two were special edition program covers designed for the North County Times newspaper in San Diego in 1996.
	COUPON MAGAZINES I worked with a start-up advertising agency to bring this originally pocket sized coupon magazine called “Get 1 Free” to life. I designed the look and feel of the product, and acted as art director for the first year of publication in 2002/2003.
